In the company's demo, they showed how to use Lampix lamps for the "Tower Defense" game. The user can use coffee capsules as a turret for the game while also enabling shooting operations.

In addition to its application in the game industry, the company also plans to promote the use of this product to the retail industry. At present, they have reached cooperation with Nestle. With Lampix placed at the point of sale, customers can place a flavored coffee capsule in a designated location, and the table lamp displays detailed product information on a nearby plane.

“The ability to provide customers with an accessible shopping experience is very important for the sale of products,” said George Popsecu, co-founder and CEO of Lampix.

In addition, Lampix also has many practical uses in the office. For example, a variety of digital operations on paper documents, users can copy, paste, upload and other operations on the contents of the file, but also to achieve the contents of the file. Lamapix can be synchronized and updated in real time during use. Therefore, multiple employees in different locations can simultaneously make and modify a project, which greatly facilitates collaboration.

However, due to the use of a low-cost projector, Lampix has many limitations in practical use. For example, it cannot be used in a strong light environment, nor can it be projected on a glass type medium. The company said that they will launch an enhanced version of Lampix, which will be equipped with more powerful projection equipment, but the price of the enhanced version will be much higher than the regular version.

It is understood that Lampix is ​​expected to be officially released next fall, priced at 300 US dollars, will launch several applications at the same time, and open to the developers of the device API, encourage developers to develop more applications for Lampix.
