User: Nestlé Sweden Supplier: CLP Industries
Buitoni of Nestlé of Sweden and CLP Industries received the Gold Award for Excellence in FPA Packaging. The award-winning packaging is a self-supporting cooking bag for Buitoni's pasta and sauce products.
The FPA judges noted that Buitoni's use of special-shaped bags in the conversion from wide-mouth bottles to high-risk stand-up pouches places high demands on design, processing and overprinting. Buitoni and CLP use this special cooking bag, which retains the bottle curve and pattern of the original wide-mouth bottle packaging. The packaged pasta and sauce can be stored at room temperature, and reduce the processing cost and logistics difficulties.
This high barrier bag is made of PET/BONYL (biaxially oriented nylon)/PP composite film and features high hardness, puncture resistance, durability and sealability. It is manufactured by Totani's special-shaped bag manufacturing equipment. .
Compared with food cans, the retort processing of bagged products is faster, the heating time is significantly reduced, and the product preservation is more effective. The spaghetti and sauces packed in this bag have a longer shelf life, and the microwave can be eaten after heating for one minute.
