Most of the lamps we usually use are two-plug type 0 lamps. After New Year's Day, such lamps will not be allowed to be produced.
The new national standard for luminaires will be implemented on January 1, 2009, eliminating Category 0 luminaires with lower safety performance. The author recently learned from the National Lighting Quality Supervision and Inspection Center that the new national standard for lamps, "Lighting Part 1: General Requirements and Tests" has been approved by the National Standards Committee and will be implemented on January 1, 2009.
It is understood that according to the safety performance of the lamps, the old national standard will be divided into four categories: 0, I, II, III. Class 0 lamps are insulated by only one layer of wire sheath. If the skin is damaged, it is prone to electric shock and there is a fire hazard; Class I lamps generally refer to three-plug lamps, which can lead to ground wire and have higher safety performance; Class II lamps Generally, there are only two plugs, in addition to the basic insulating layer, there are double insulation layers or reinforced insulation layers; Class III lamps do not generate low voltages higher than 36V, and generally do not pose a danger.
The new national standard has removed the Class 0 lamps with lower safety performance. That is to say, Class 0 lamps are not allowed to be produced in the future, and only the latter three types are produced.
Most of the lamps currently on the market belong to Class 0 lamps. In addition, among the movable lamps and recessed lamps commonly used in the market, such as bracket lamps, ceiling lamps, floor lamps, downlights, etc., category 0 accounts for a large proportion.
According to relevant sources, starting from January 1, 2009, Class 0 lamps will be out of production, but there will be a certain transition period in the circulation field.
Most lamps on the market belong to category 0
The lamps sold in the Shenyang market are basically two plugs. The author recently saw a variety of table lamps, ceiling lamps, and floor lamps in a lighting city in Shenhe District, Shenyang. Although the manufacturers are different, the implementation standards of the lamps are the same, and they are all old standards, most of which are classified. There is only one layer of insulation for the desk lamp, and it is impossible to have multiple layers like the electricity. One industry owner said.
The relevant person in charge of a lighting company in Zhejiang said that the five lamps produced by the company in the five years of production were all Class 0. The lamps were produced according to the new standard, the insulation layer was increased, the cost was increased, and the market price was also increased. May have to improve a bit.
